Go to Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data; if you have the option to “Add Cellular Plan” or “Add Data Plan”, your iPhone supports eSIMs.
SIM restrictions check:
Go to Settings->General section->Tap “About”, read next to “SIM-Lock”, “Carrier Lock” or “Network Provider Lock”.
On Android devices (i.e Samsung)
eSIM support check:
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager; if you have the option to “Add mobile plan”, your smartphone supports eSIMs.
SIM restrictions check:
Go to Settings->Connections->Mobile Networks->Network Operators->Turn off “Select Automatically”, wait a bit, if you see a list of multiple different available networks then your phone is unrestricted/unlocked and compatible. Otherwise it’s not.
